According to him, Lectures are expected to begin from 2nd December, 2013.

As at the time of writing this report, The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has not officially called off the strike, AAUA has joined three other State Universities, Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT), Enugu, Ebonyi State University, EBSU and the Ibrahim Badamosi University, Lapai, in Niger State to re-open their gates for academic activities.
